Our area is one of the less discovered parts of Spain and we do not have the massive development found in other areas. We are located in the southeast of the province of Almería, Andalusia, in southern Spain, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and we have properties in three distinct areas.
Our coastline is one of stunning beauty with fine sand beaches, seafront promenades, fishing ports, ragged rock seafronts and lots of lovely coves all stretching down the coast to the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. Here we have towns such as Mojacar, Garrucha, Vera Playa, Palomares and Villaricos all with their fabulous beaches, bars and restaurants. We even have a naturist beach in the area.

Near the Coast
Here we find towns such as Vera, Turre, los Gallardos, Bedar and Cuevas del Almanzora, very Spanish, all set back from the coast yet within easy reach.
With villages like Albox, Arboleas, Cantoria and Oria offering a lovely selection of village houses, farmhouses and villas all set in the beautiful Spanish countryside and again within easy reach of the coast. This part of Almeria is very un-developed, yet with the excellent road system beach resorts are within easy travelling distance. Orange and lemon groves line the dried riverbeds (ramblas). Olive groves are everywhere and almond trees, stunning when they are in blossom, lead to the mountains which rise in the distance and invite exploration. The people are friendly, the sun shines most of the days of the year and the local food and wine is well worth trying.

Obviously there are many more towns and villages, here we are naming just a few.
Our area has more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, the average annual temperature is around 28°c, and winter is mild with temperatures of around 18°c, the best part of living here is not the fabulous summers with their blue skies, hot summer days and long warm evenings, it’s the superb winter days, usually quite mild, they can even be quite fresh but with fabulous blue skies!
There are many activities in the area such as all water sports, scuba diving, sea fishing, both from the beach and from boats, sailing, jet-sking, a large water park, karting, an aerodrome, riding and hiking centers, 4x4 centre, clubs and associations of all sorts and of course a wide variety of entertainment and recreation with restaurants, bars and nightclubs. We also have a Western Theme Park – “Mini Hollywood”, based in the Taberno Desert, where many of the “Spaghetti Westerns” with Clint Eastwood and others were filmed and it has a variety of shows and a zoo and is well worth a visit with the children.
For golfers there are 5 golf courses in the area, Macenas Beach, Cortijo Grande, Valle del Este, Marina de la Torre and Desert Springs.
