Garrucha is the mecca of fish and seafood, with red “Garrucha” prawns, St. Peter's fish, sea bream, snapper and grouper, usually prepared with white wine and olive oil are true delicacies as is the traditional “sailor´s stew”, made with monkfish, mackerel or swordfish, almonds, garlic and fried bread.
